Significance of the project

There is no question about how important planning is to every project especially if it involves marketing strategies. Haven’t you noticed that company owners usually prioritize marketing over the other sectors of the company because for every successful project. Thus with great planning, project management and owners have control over what is happening that is how important marketing project planning is.

The success of every project depends on its strategy and the way it has been implemented. Every marketing project planning should include and support the how it is going to be done. In this way the project managers already determine the outcome of each project especially in terms of product and how affects the business as a whole. Having a good plan makes it easier for everybody who is involved which brings better business results.

Usually the benefits of having a great marketing project plan are increased revenues due to the project early launching of the project, there is a decrease in cost and expenses because of time and money less spent. All of these translate to more profit for the company. By lacking marketing project planning you will find yourself working more on finding solutions to the problems.

Target population.

The subject under study in this project is the consumers of the Bata and Servis. These companies have a presence nationwide and have thousands of customers in all areas of Pakistan. So the population of this study would comprise of the customers of Bata and Servis all over Pakistan. It is not possible to study this entire population for this project as it would mean conducting nationwide surveys. For this purpose I have decide to sample the population into a smaller, manageable group. The area where the survey would be carried out has been limited to the physical boundaries of Lahore. In this area, several localities will be visited to collect data. Specific areas of data collection would be Defence, Gulberg, Chuburji and Data Darbar. The areas have been selected to give a wide variety of respondents so that the data collected is balanced.
