Executive Summary


The main purpose of doing internship is to getting practical and professional knowledge. Virtual university has given me task, do internship in any organization. For the sake university requirement I decided to get practical knowledge and select Askari bank at Okara Cantt branch. The aim behind internship in HRM was to looking for good hand on experience in the practical field with an invaluable knowledge, during my professional experience and to amass relevant and valuable information to pile up internship on Askari Bank at Okara Cantt Branch. Obliviously this opportunity enables the students to use the management techniques and find the possible solution of management problems faced by the organization. This report is going to present you my sex Weak internship program in Askari Bank. Data have been collected through Primary sources and secondary sources. The biggest source of information is my personal experience, learning which has been got during stay in branch. Report is divided into different Portion, my first portion is the Sector which ABL falls according to current scenario, and in the 2nd Portion I have discussed overview, history, vision, mission, and core values, Nature of the organization, ABL Product lines, and its competitor’s information. In the 3rd portion I have discussed about ABL senior management and branch networks, necessary comments have also been writing over the ABL management structure. The next portion is very Vital portion of my report and it my Training program which shows the where I did internship, departments operation and detail of the tasks which I have performed during stay in branch. Another important portion of my report is HRM function, readers will be able to study the all about ABL HRM function, HR practice regarding to job satisfaction, employee satisfaction, Askari Bank present HRM policies, rules and regulation. After this portion, report show you another important portion, that will consist on Critical analysis, where I have wrote about some theoretically analysis according to my true observation. Last portion of my report is SWOT, Conclusion and recommendation. After true finding, core result, I have also suggested some necessary recommendation to ABL for improve such highlighted areas

Executive Summary

By the grace of almighty God, I have successfully completed my 8 weeks internship as per requirement of M.com course. I was appointed at PTCL Headquarter Islamabad Sector G-8/4. I feel my self-lucky to have worked with such a cooperative, dedicated, result-oriented team. They all helped me in every possible way they can. I was happened to work in INTERCONNECT REVENUE DEPARTMENT. 

With employee strength of 30,000 and 5.7 million customers, PTCL is the largest telecommunications provider in Pakistan. PTCL also continues to be the largest CDMA operator in the country with 0.8 million V-fone customers. The company maintains a leading position in Pakistan as an infrastructure provider to other telecom operators and corporate customers of the country. It has the potential to be an instrumental agent in Pakistan’s economic growth. PTCL has laid an Optical Fiber Access Network in the major metropolitan centers of Pakistan and local loop services have started to be modernized and upgraded from copper to an optical network. 

This report is being started with the brief and complete introduction of organization, its historical background, its services and its products offerings.
