Internship Report on Textile Mills Pakistan and this report contain one industry information named Bismillah. The internship
program is arranged as a partial degree requirement by university it is to
enhance the student’s ideas and knowledge about actual professional life and
how to implement the knowledge earned into practical situations often involving
quick decision making. To improve my professional knowledge and educational
skills I performed my internship at Bismillah fabrics Ltd Faisalabad. The
company is responsible for making bed linens, duvets and curtains etc. for
national and international market. The company has several quality assurance
certificates to its name.
Internship Report on Textile Mills Writing Skills
During my
internship program I have performed different tasks in accounting, marketing
and HR department of Bismillah fabrics. Page number 4 holds all activities I
have performed in Marketing department, similarly from page 6 I have included
all my duties performed in the HR or administration department and page 7 has
all my task activities performed in accounts department. I have noted during
the time of my internship program that several problems are faced by employees
in the organization like the training system of the organization is not
satisfactory. Employees are not involved in decisions related to their job and
the organization as a whole. Customer relationship management system is not
effective and customers’ complaints against products are not fully accomplished
by the company. The SWOT analysis performed for the company shows that the
company has some threats and weaknesses that needs improvement and how the
company can use its strengths to obtain the opportunities.

Selling Operations:
Selling is the back bone of organization. Selling is a process to satisfying customer needs and wants by earning profit for organization. Selling is a social process that is needed to discern consumers’ wants, focusing on a product/service to those wants. Selling is fundamental of any organization or business growth. The Sales team has the task to create the consumer awareness of the products / services through selling techniques. If as business does not pay attention to their products / services and their consumer, the business would not be able to endure longevity. For beating the competitors of organization, a well established selling department is necessary for organization.
Market based pricing:
Market based pricing starts with customers, competition and company
positioning. Keeping in view, the price sensitivity and competing products, a
price is worked out to offer customers a superior value. This pricing model is
just not possible without having a focus both on customers’ needs and
competition (Market intelligence). Market based pricing model can be executed with different strategies,
relating products, life cycle stage as:
Demotion
Bismillah
Fabrics is forced to demote employees when they downsize or reorganize. This is
frequently with mergers, when staff suddenly becomes redundant due to the
nature of the merger. In this case, the organization may want to retain the
employee because he or she is valuable, but the bank must move the employee to
another department. In most cases, the company tries to keep the move
temporary, and it will often endeavor to keep the rate of pay the same as well.
Layoffs
It is happened
when organization want to create big changes. It could be done within the
organization when merger is done or when economic situation is created in the
Bismillah Fabrics. So regarding to this situation, employee are getting off
from the Bismillah Fabrics.
Termination
Bismillah
Fabrics has different strategy for employee termination; it is depend on
employee termination terms and condition. Rules has been sat according to under
below employee termination situation.
Labor Management Relations
The society of
labor is formed within Bismillah Fabrics, which functions with the help of
management, so forms a good relation and provides

Core weaknesses in Training and
Development system:
Conceptually I have observed several weaknesses in the HR department of Bismillah textiles. Some of the weaknesses in the HR department were in the training department, sufficient training was not given to employees and some employees were not sent for training every year due to which many employees had difficulties in performing tasks on the job sometimes employees are over worked and burdened with extra work they cannot perform on time due to overworking. Whenever training programs are arranged for employees they are unrealistic and employees are unable to adopt the skills learned during training which means that a huge gap is present between actual training needs of employees and the training program content. The faculty arranged to provide employee training is not competent and some methods used for training are not on par with current training programs in other corporations.
