Internship Report on Askari Bank 2025

Executive Summary

The Department of Administrative Sciences was established in 1975 and offers a Masters in Business and Public Administration. They are giving the best education and are offered for specialization, financial management, marketing management and computer application for businesses. A major program of six to eight weeks internship in a recognized institution.

I decided to take Askari Commercial Bank Limited of my internship, and your bank to compete today and offers good training for inmates. Therefore, to learn this was my choice.

This report is the practices that have undergone the Askari Commercial Bank Limited Branch Multan on June 16, 2003-October 8, 03. During my internship I can learn the practical aspects of business, and gain experience from a good job.

On the first day of my internship was informed by Human Resources Manager / Operations Manager Mr. Shoukat Hussain Babar. I gave brief introduction of the bank and introduced me to the bank employees. Each internship is rotated between departments of the bank, and I also rotation this is to have general idea about the functions of bank operations and policies. This rotation of stay in the department usually a week. I learned more about the accounts and the Department of Trade and bearing in mind the legend of the activities he was involved in six weeks.

During my internship I found that Askari Commercial Bank is the best bank in Multan, because most exports and imports in Multan is done through this bank. Multan is a city that grows cotton in Pakistan. Most businesses in Multan, directly or indirectly related to the cotton is also the case of commercial banking customers Askari. Because it is an agricultural town of Multan, and its main export product is cotton and mango. As the export is done on a seasonal basis. In the season of cotton and mango export Askari Commercial Bank achieve its goal easily but difficult for him to achieve his goal in the offseason. The same applies to imports, imports of oilseeds fines, which are also done on a seasonal basis.

The low rates of profit are one of the main reasons for not meeting the objectives of deposit. Profit rates Askari in deposit systems are quite low compared to other banks, especially the National Centers for the summer. Today every rational client is the client knows the value of money and want a better return on their money.

Askari in early trading were able to attract customers for its ancillary services such as ATM cards, credit cards, electronic banking, etc, but now all banks are offering these services through its own network or outsourcing, so our points are just our advantage. So all through the ACBL may increase their deposits are the rates of profit because customers just want to get the maximum benefit from their investment.

During the past fifteen years, the Bank has focused on growth through improving service quality, investment in technology and personnel, using its extensive branch network, developing a large deposit base and stable and management of nonperforming loans through better risk management processes.

Payment of Cheques

The first job I was assigned to count the checks. It is considered as the simplest work in the consumer banking operations, but in reality is not so simple. Controls that are either for payment or deposit are the main points where the majority of fraud occurs. There are some points to keep in mind while analyzing a check for payment or deposit,

Ø Date of verification

Ø The signatures of the drawer

Ø signature of this

Ø Amount in figures and words

Ø Power Seal

Ø Account Number box

Ø Cross in favor of any other person

The controls are to be deposited in the accounts of customers for them a payment slip must be completed and the check is presented along with the slip. As the control is taken for deposit in the customer's account, a summary of receipts, prepares checks where the checks are entered according to their category, ie the transfer of delivery, dispatch or collection.

Call Deposit Receipts are also issued to customers, especially before the holy month of Ramzan. The reason is that customers convert their savings account savings account PLS. The reason for this activity is that customers want to take out there money from the accounts in order to jump to the deduction of Zakat. For this purpose, the CDRs were issued to two applicants and recipients of the same person.

The CDRs are issued to contractors for building departments to obtain offers from several buildings.

An example of their work in the area of fish conservation is the Fish Sustainability Initiative, which aims to meet their objective of sourcing all supplies from sustainable fisheries by 2005. Filegro, an Alaskan salmon-based dish, was our first product to come from a sustainable fishery, as certified by the Marine Stewardship Council. In clean water stewardship, as in other areas, Unilever joins with partners to achieve maximum impact. Unilever aims to be as professional in their management of its social responsibilities as they are in any other area of business. Unilever recognize the need to be explicit about what their social commitment means in practice: to articulate their policies, and to demonstrate its performance. Unilever reports on their approach and progress in its Social Review. Unilever has a tradition of support for the local community wherever it operates, in particular in the areas of education, environment and health. For example, in India access to oral care is limited, with few dentists per head of population. In 2000, Unilever’s oral health and hygiene education programme brought advice and care to over 2.5 million schoolchildren. In China, Unilever has sponsored Qinghai province’s first Art Hope School. In a region where few can afford the cost of basic schooling, it offers the opportunity of a general education and free tuition in traditional dance, music and modern art.

Internet technology is providing a two-way communication channel, helping Unilever to get to know its consumers better.

Competition in markets is intense. To further develop their relationships with consumers and communicate the benefits of their brands, Unilever uses a variety of media, not only highly creative television advertising campaigns but also new one-to-one communication via the internet. Unilever brand communication has always made the news. In the 1950s, they produced the first ever television commercial in the UK.
